sylvania equestrians cap
tured one grand champion
and three reserve champion
titles during the 1979 Quarter
Horse competition at the
Livestock Exposition held at
the State Farm Show
Complex.
“Jonathan Swift” was
tabbed grand champion
stallion during the show. The
champion is a two-year-old
colt owned by Gelsa Ann
Pelick of Bellefonte, Centre
County. Reserve grand
champion stallion was a
yearling colt named “Skip
Aside” exhibited by Jim
Heddinger of Lebanon,
Lebanon County.
Grand champion mare
went to “Ima Luster Girl”
shown by Elle Goldberg of
Califon, New Jersey.
“Luster Girl” placed first in
the four-year-old and older
mare class. Reserve grand
mare was
exhibited by Cumberland
Countian James H. Shetron
of Newville. His winning
entry, “Tomra’s Cody,” was
the second place winner in
the four-year-old and older
class.
