—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, November 10,1979 132 Game Commission establishes HARRISBURG - At a recent meeting of the Pennsylvania Game Comission a (2,500 gift from the Upper Providence Fish, Game and Forestry Association, near Norristown, Montgomery County was accepted. The sportsmen’s group is disbanding and making distribution of its assets. In other action, the Commission adopted a new rate schedule to be followed in state game lands right-of way licensing procedures. It also adopted uniform rules and regulations for all lands leased from the federal government. The rules are similar to those which govern users of state game lands. The island, about 43 acres in size, is one of a group in the Susquehanna River in the Washington Boro Flats, part of Lake Clarke above the Safe Harbor Dam. The propagation area will be closed to public access only during the period March 1 to July 31.
