A production of 25,557 pounds milk made Robert J.
Schaffer’s Ginger the top producer for Dauphin County's
September DHIA report.
Another Schaffer cow, Dee, led the county in butterfat
production with 913 pounds. Dee's milk production was a
trifle under 24,000 pounds while she beat Ginger’s fat
production by eight pounds.
