It was formerly owned by Hershey’s parents, Raymond and Mabel Her shey, and before that by his grandparents, Willis and Ada Hershey. Speaker for the evening was Boyd Gartley, Inter- State’s director of member and public relations. Gar tley told the members that they had received an average Class I milk pnce for the last 12 months of $13.04 per hundredweight. Gartley reported that Inter-State had netted $585,000 for the fiscal year ended July 31, with a 21 percent increase in patronage. In the last year, Inter- State management and directors have made a lot of decisions that will pay off for the members in the next five to 10 years, according to Gartley.
