Ball, poultry health manager for the primary breeder of egg-type poultry, his primary responsibilities will include the development of new immunological ap proaches to disease diagnosis and prevention. A Richfield Springs, New York native with a dairy farm background, he was graduated from Cornell in 1973 with a BS in Biology, with a genetics con centration. Subsequently, he completed a number of advanced veterinary virology courses at Cornell, and a six-week intensive training program in im munology from the USDA.
