SEVEN LAYER SALAD
1 pkg.(lo oz.) frozen peas
1 head of lettuce, shredded
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 cups mayonnaise
3 tablespoons parmesean cheese
% pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
In medium saucepan cook peas as package label directs
but for only 1 minute; dram.
In large glass salad bowl, layer lettuce, celery, green
pepper, and peas. Spread mayonnaise evenly on top.
Sprinkle on the cheese, then bacon.

ving time; use large salad~spoons to divide salad into

FROZEN CUCUMBER AND ONION RECIPE
8-10 medium cucumbers
2 medium onions
2 tablespoons salt
%cup vinegar
% teaspoon tumeric
% teaspoon celery seed
2 teaspoon mustard seed
2 cups granulated sugar
Slice cucumbers and onions very thin, add salt and
leave stand for 2 hours. Drain well. Add sugar and spices
and vinegar, mix well. Place m containers and freeze.

I pounf ground beef
%cup onion
1 teaspoon oregano
Vz teaspoon salt
1 can condensed tomato soup
Vbcup water ,
2 cups cooked wide noodles
Brown beef with onions and seasonings. Combine all
ingredients except cheese. Place in casserole and spread
cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 min.

4 tablespoons of garden tea
1 cup (or less) granulated sugar
Bring water and tea to a boil. Add sugar and cool. Pour
over ice cubes or add cold water to desired taste.
