miles west of Elizabethtown,
Lane. Co., Pa. There were
260 registered buyers
present.
Prices received were: 1952

an excellent turnout.

Dispersal for Penn Rise
farm by David W. and
Phoebe R. Bitler was held
August 23 at Shady Lane
Dairy Sales Stable west of
Quarryville, Pa.
The highest priced
registered Holstein sold for
$4000,2nd high cow was $2750
and 3rd high cow sold for
$2500. The average of the 92
animals sold including cows,
heifers and calves was $1204.
