Ezra Good representing Hatfield Packing Co., Hatfield, Pa. purchased the
Franklin County 4-H Pig Club Round-up Champion for $l.Bl per pound from
Natalie Meyers, R.D.#3, Chambersburg. Miss Meyers showed the 226 lb. Ouroc
Champion and was presented with a Grand Champion trophy by Phil Lobach
representing the local Farm Credit Association.

4-H Pig Club Round-up and
Sale was held at the
Chambersburg Livestock
Market on August 9, 1979
with 90 pigs shown and sold
by 49 individual 4-H mem
bers.
The grand champion, a 226
lb. Duroc shown by Natalie
Meyers, R.D. #3, Cham
bersburg was purchased by
Hatfield Packing Co.,
Hatfield, Pa. for $l.Bl per
pound.
The reserve grand
champion, a 22° lb.
Yorkshire shown by Robert
Raker, Fort Loudon also
purchased by Hatfield
Packing Co., for $1.09 per
pound.

was declared grand
champion for the second
consecutive year with

Chambersburg, receiving
reserve champion honors.
