Memorial Services were held during the opening of the Lecturer’s hour, in charge of Gladys Sheffer, Lecturer. Winners in the Dress Sewing contest were an nounced by Dorothy Reichart, Women’s Activity Chairman. NEWARK - On April 21, one hundred 4-H’ers from New Castle County gathered in Newark to display their sewing talents. The youngsters were par ticipating in the annual 4-H Fashion Revue, “Saturday In The Park.” Prior to the revue, all garments were evaluated by a team of judges for actual sewing construction. On Saturday morning at Agricultural Hall, the budding seamstresses and tailors modeled their creations and were judged for fit and appearance. The top winners are as follows: Honorable Mention: Debbie Ellis, Michele Gawel, Ann Griesinger and Sandy Sheldon. This category was for older 4- H’ers who have won top awards in previous years.
