June 13 to 15 Congress, to be
held at Denver’s Marriott
Hotel, bring together these
individual’s: Kathleen
O’Reilly, executive director,
Consumer Federation of
America (CFA); William
Rusher, publisher of the
conservative magazine,
“National Review;” Bar
bara Keating, director of the
Consumer Alert Council;
Loren Carlson, president of
the National Cattlemen’s
Association; Gar Alperovitz,
co-director of the National
Center for Economic
Alternatives, described by a
national magazine as a
“liberal think tank sup
ported by 35 foundations;”
and Dale Tinstman, vice
chairman of the board of
lowa Beef Processors, the
nation’s largest meat
packers.
Congress General
Chairman Robert D. Walker
said the 2%-hour session on
Friday morning, June
will be moderated by Bill
Monroe, moderator of NBC
TV’s “Meet The Press.”
He will lead the par
ticipants, Walker said, in a

Alperovitz, Walker noted,

President Carter by several

involvement; an industry
managed cycle, and better
management by individual
producers, Walker said.
