The new machines are the
Model 6200 Self Propelled
Windrower and the Model
601 Pull Type Windrower.
Highlights of the 6200 self
propelled model include
choice of draper or auger
heads. The draper head can
be equipped with either bat
reel or pickup reel. The five
bat metal reel is available on
all head widths - 12, 15, 18

and 21 feet - while the
pickup reel is available on
the 12-, 15-, and 18-foot sizes
only. Each draper is made of
a 42-mch wide, vulcanized,
rubber-coated polyester
fabric with fiberglass
reinforced rubber slats
vulcanized to the material.
Such construction does an
excellent job of carrying the
crop so acceptable windrows
can be formed.
The auger head comes
equipped with an all-metal
four-bat reel with
replaceable steel fingers.
This head is available in 12-
and 14-foot sizes with 22-inch
diameter auger and six-inch
deep flighting.
Heavy-duty springs allow
headers to float over rough
terrain with> even cutting
height, and crimper-type
hay conditioner gently kinks
stems without breaking or
stripping, for high quality
hay.
The Model 6200 employs a
225-cubic-inch slant six
cylinder gas engine designed
for heavy-duty industrial
service, 0-7 mph infinitely
variable hydrostatic tran
smission. The operator’s
platform is high up out of the
dust zone and has a comfort
engineered seat with full
time steering wheel and
controls within easy reach.
On the White Model 601
Pull Type Windrower,
controls for complete
swathing operations are
right at the tractor seat. A
choice of built-in hydraulics
or a system that utilizes
tractor hydraulic power is
offered along with quick and

introduced a new line of
confinement quality pig
nursery feeders, according
to an announcement by
Floyd Carter, marketing
manager.
The new feeders are
easy switching from working
to transport positions.
Hydraulic control offers
instant, finger-tip super
vision of complete cutting
range to speed swathing,
save work, and save grain.
Control of reel and platform
height from convenient
push-pull control rods.
One person can switch the
Model 601 from working to
transport and storage
position using the 601’s built
in jack, and the hitch which
is winched-up for narrow
136-inch transport/storage
position.
Available in 15-foot end
delivery and 18-foot, 21-foot,
and 25-foot off center
delivery models (three-foot
extensions optional), this
windrower also has wide
discharge throat to lay neat,
well-formed rows of evenly
cut straw, away from bent of
broken stubble.
The Model 601 will operate
from any suitable tractor
with 1-3/8 inch spline, 540
rpm PTO shaft. A five bat
metal reel features end
shields and left and right
hand safety props. Synthetic
fabric and vinyl drapers
have replaceable wooden
slats.

powdered materials can
be spread, and are
deposited on the ground
in an even, rectangular
pattern. Corn and seeds
can also be sown
without modification to
the machine. The Vicon
pendulum system is
designed for a long,
trouble free life. Hop
pers and extensions are
made from glassfibre re
inforced polyester which
cannot corrode. The
working parts are also
made from polyester
and stainless steel and
ball and roller bearings
are widely used. Out-of
work time is cut to a
minimum.

new feeders have also been
designed to save floor space,
says Carter. A built-in step
causes pigs to step up to
reach the trough, which
helps discourage dunging in
the feeder. Feed flow ad
justment has been included
on these feeders, which
come in two lengths, and in
single or double side models.
Each trough space will
serve six pigs from weaning
to about 80 pounds in size.
The feeders have five spaces
per three foot of trough;
thus, the six foot long single
side model will serve 60 pigs,
according to Carter. To
make one six foot feeder
serve two pens side-by-side,
stainless or galvanized fence
line trough divider brackets
have also been made
available.

According to Rayl, the
patented Flergo intake
available on eight inch
diameter models prevents
damage to soybeans or any
grain handled. This gentle
handling of soybeans is
particularly inportant where
beans will be held back for
seed.
In addition to these
benefits in preserving grain
quality, Flexgo’s hardened
rubber two foot intake
section lasts up to four tunes
longer than conventional
steel intakes, according to
the manufacturers. Flezgo
is available on eight inch
diameter augers.
