    Struble honored
WEST CHESTER - Over
thirty years ago, Robert G.
Struble, Sr. left his
vocational-agricultural cla
ssroom teaching in Union
ville and moved out into the
world of watersheds and
conservation. Before most of
us knew much about con
servation, Bob Struble had
put together an illustrated
slide talk, showing just what
it was all about, and con
vince people to become
involved. And, he helped
create the Chester County
Conservation District.
In recognition of these
contributions and his thirty
years of dedicated service as
Secretary/Treasurer for the
.District, over 60 friends,
Associates and family
gathered at the West Chester
Treadway Inn to honor
Struble at a dinner given by
the Conservation District
Directors; Robert Hodge,
