A 7-year old Holstein in the John Hertzler herd produced
the high record for lactations completed last month. She
pumped out 26,551 pounds of milk, testing 4.0 per cent, and
yielding 1056 pounds of butterfat. The high herd average
for the month was shared by Robert Schaffer and Restful
