Q Report
Elwillo Farms’ No. 9 was the top milk producingcow in
January, according to the reports from the Dauphin
County Dairy Improvement Association. The six year old
cow produced 23,635 pounds of milk, with 743 pounds of
butterfat.
Second for the month was Lauden Farms’ Verda 80,
with 22,181 pounds of milk. The five year old Holstein had
842 pounds of butterfat.
In butterfat, Robert J. Schaeffer’s Goldie was high, with
928 pounds of butterfat, giving 21,593 pounds of milk, 4.3
per cent Second went to the Lauden Farms cow Agnes,
with 914 pounds of butterfat, 20,340 pohnds of milk, 4.5 per
cent.
