The Oneida Two-In-One unit, through
these patented advances, permits the
automatic firing of wood in conjunction
with gas or oil in a single combustion
area Automatic firing is controlled by
one thermostat which incorporates two
heating stages; stage one controls the
wood firing cycle and stage two, set a few
degrees lower, controls the gas/oil cycle
Within the combustion area a separate
stainless steel chamber houses the auto
matic Journer, protecting it from soot and
ash accumulation This chamber is
further protected by a heavy log-guard
The single chamber design permits auto
matic kindling of the sohd fuel, elimina
ting the need for hand kindling The
automatic burner fires long enough to
ignite the wood and raise the bonnet
temperature to 130°, then shuts down. If
the wood burns out or dies down the
automatic burner will fire again, keeping
your home at a comfortable temperature
until you reload the chamber with wood
All Oneida Royal heat exchangers and
radiators are manufactured of welded,
heavy gauge steel. In designing them, our
engineers have achieved the proper
relationship between grate area, com
bustion area, and heating surface—as

As proper sizing is very important,
these units are available in a complete
range of sizes from 80,000 Bill’s to
160.000 Bill’s Each Two-In-One is de
signed with matched components to
deliver, most economically, the proper
amount of heat for each installation. All
units can be hand operated in the event
of a power failure They will also accept
an air conditioner and/or humidifier, and
have ash pans for easy ash removal.
