January 11 meeting of York
County Farm Women
Society 35. Committees were
appointed and approved.
Fund raising ideas were
discussed and contributions
were made to the American
Cancer Society in memory of
Mrs. Edward Rishel and also
to the Cystic Fibrosis
Chapter.
Delegates to the state
convention - Joan Beck,
Carolyn Sweitzer and Lois
Rohrbaugh - gave reports on
the convention.
Linda Hamme won the
mystery gift.
Slides of the Holy Land
will be featured by Mrs.
Virginia Beck at the
February 8 meeting. Nancy
Miller will host the Society in
her home.
