Livestock Club. He is also a
member of the Annville-
Cleona FFA Chapter. Jay
works on his home farm.

Tom Arnold, IS, of
Lebanon R 7, showed the
reserve champion steer. His
steer was a cross bred
Charolias that Tom said he
fed “corn cob chop and some
hay”. Henry Arnold was the
buyer of the 1095 pound
steer. He paid 85 cents per
pound.

pound. Tom was also the grand champion swine showman and fitter, along wit
being selected reserve champion in the beef fitting and showmanship contest.

at this year’s Farm Show.

as the first place buddy steer
of the round-up. Jed Hoffer,
18, sold his 1235 pounder to
Wenger’s Farm Machinery,
Myerstown, for 61 cents per
pound.
Jed, the son of Lester and
Loa Hoffer, Lebanon Rl, will
also be exhibiting a medium
heavyweight Angus steer at
the Farm Show. As a second
year member of the Lebanon
County 4-H Livestock Club,
Jed says he feeds his steers
