Keystone Farmer?
Members of FFA chapters in souheastern and southcentral Pennsylvania who will
receive their Keystone Degree at the Farm Show next week are reminded to send
their pictures and biographical information to Lancaster Farming, Box 366, Lititz,
Pa. 17543. As in previous years, this newspaper will devote a special section of pages
to those FFA’ers who have earned the State honor.
Some 70 high schools in the region received invitations in early December to join
this program. Students and their instructors are reminded that the deadline for
submitting the above material is December 30. Early contributions are very much
appreciated.

The Tempo cross-over tool
box will not rust or corrode.
It is resistant to most oils,
chemicals, fertilizers,
solvents, salts and paints
claims the manufacturer.
Bouncing tools create little
noise and do not damage as
easily. The Tempo unit is
made of Marlex, high im
pact, high density
polyethylene.
The tool box body is
thicker than 10 gauge steel
with two spring loaded lids
that are thicker than 8 gauge
steel. Still, the box weighs
only 40 pounds, the
manufacturer says. It is 17
inches high, 18% inches wide
and 70 inches long suitable
for mounting in standard
wide-bed pick-ups, with a
recommended maximum
load of 250 pounds. The box
also has leather grain finish
with color molded in.
