admirable, we feel the
concept offers more than it

members cautioned.
The main advantages of
the national food policy
approach, said the Task

notion “creates a
requirement for the
development of alliances
within the food and
agriculture community.

include interests broader
than the traditional
agricultural establishment,
such as consumer groups,
environmentalists and
organized labor. Such
alliances, while politically
appealing, also run rides,”
Khutsonsaid.
