Berks County Agricultural
Stabiliztion and Con
servation Committee,
(ASC), has announced that
elections for . community
committeemen are being
held at the present time. All
ballots must be in the County
office by December 4.
Voting is being held by mail.
Each of the 11 com
munities in the County has a
slate of six candidates from
which to choose. Voters are
asked to vote for three or
less; the candidate getting
the highest vote will be the
chairman of the community
committee, the next highest
will be the vice chairman.
Carter vetoes meat import bill
