8 hot dogs
8 tablespoons peanut butter
8 strips bacon
8 hot dog rolls, toasted
Slit the hot dogs length
wise, but not completely
through to form pockets. Fill
each pocket with a level
tablespoon of peanut butter.
Wrap each hot dog with a
spiral of bacon, securing the
bacon on each end with a
toothpick. Starting with the
split side down, grill until the
bacon is crisp. Serve in hot
dog rolls.
KIXIE CANDY
6 ounces semi-sweet
chocolate pieces
% cup peanuts
5 cups com popped cereal
Melt chocolate and
peanuts in oven using low
heat. Pour over cereal. Stir
gently. Drop onto waxed
paper in little shapes. Chill
until hard, for at least two
hours. Should make 60
candies.

6 to 9 p.m. at the Extension
Meeting Room, 1100
Claremont Road, Carlisle.
This display' features
representatives of eight
major sewing machine
companies who will discuss
and demonstrate sewing
machines in all price ranges
to include those with only
several special features to
the top-of-the-line models.
Also featured will be a fabric
store display of dressmaking
and sewing equipment and
tools that make excellent
Christmas gifts and stocking
stuffers.
The meeting will begin
with a brief talk about
general buying tips and how
to determine Specific sewing
needs. The talk will be
repeated at 7:30 p.m. for any
new arrivals. Visitors will
then be free to visit with any
and all of the represen
tatives and ask as many
questions as they please.
