Yoder of Elverson, who has been leading the pack for the past several years Yoder averaged 19,722 pounds of milk and 795 pounds of butterfat Presently Yoder has a herd of 50 cows, and farms 1200 acres with the help of his 23- year old son, Carl, and one full tune man. The Yoders also have a herd of 40 Angus brood cows - the foundation of a cow-calf operation. Following Yoder with an average of 792 pounds of butterfat was Jacob K. Stoltzfus, Oxford. His herd averaged 18,470 pounds of milk. Melvin S. Stoltzfus, Cochranville, averaged 780 pounds of fat and 19,041 of milk. The fourth highest in butterfat was George P Lambom of Nottingham Lambom was also the tops in milk production with a record of 20,077 pounds of milk and 762 of fat.
