The grand champion bull,
“Packard Thomas West,” a
two-year-old, was shown by
David McElhaney of
Hookstown. “Packard” was
also named the senior
champion bull. Diane
McElhaney of Hookstown
showed the calf champion
female, “Hart’s Lady Clark
2nd,” a winter heifer calf.
MATZ,
Terry and Rhonda Kibler
of Woodstock, Va., were
named the premier exhibitor
and premier breeder of the
Shorthorn and Polled
Shorthorn show. They
exhibited the reserve grand
champion bull, “K Mr. Pace
Setter,” a winter bull which
took the calf champion bull
honor. The Kiblers also
showed the junior champion
bull, “K Big Commander,” a
summer yearling. Rhonda
Kibler showed the grand
champion female, “K
Victoria,” an early spring
yearling that also won
Rhonda the junior champion
female title. Last year the
grand champion female
honor went to Terry and
Rhonda, who this year won
the reserve grand champion
female honor with “K Mss
Express,” a summer
yearling which was also
named the reserve junior
champion female.
The reserve senior
champion bull, “Mill Brook
Oscar,” a senior yearling,
was exhibited by Dennis
McCarty of Delaplane, Va.
He also showed the reserve
junior champion bull,
“Greenland Delight,” an
early spring yearling, and
