State offers vehicles

vices Ronald G. Lench today
announced the State will
auction off its vehicles at the
Commonwealth Garage in
Harrisburg, located at 22nd
and Forster Streets on
November 17,1978.
Lench said that the 235
units to be sold may be
purchased by dealers, the
general public, and em
ployes of the Com
monwealth, or their
relatives. Employes of the
Department of General
Services and other State
departments specificially
prohibiting participation,
however, are not eligible to
purchase the used
automobiles.
Bidders must register with

DOVER - The Dover
Young Farmers will hold
their annual Hay and Forage
Show on Wednesday,
November 8, in the cafeteria
of the Dover High School.
Broadening the scope of
entries in the annual show,
the Young Farmers have
extended an invitation to all
York County farmers to
participate in the com
petition.
Registration of entries will
be done from 7 to 8:15 p.m.,
with judging by county agent
John Smith scheduled to
begin at the close of _ the
entry period. Ribbons will be
awarded to the first five
placmgs in all categories. To
help cover expenses in
curred in setting up the
show, there will be a 50-cent
fee for each class entered.
