As Governor, Dick Thornburgh
has pledged to:
Improve markets and prices for
Pennsylvania farm products.
Implement practical procedures to
preserve agricultural land and
family farms.
Provide research needed for
producing and marketing farm
products.

Improve and maintain needed
transportation facilities, especially
rural roads, bridges and highways.
Support the Milk Marketing Board
and provide assurances to dairy
farmers for payment for their milk.
Make state agencies responsive to
agriculture and individual farmers.
