These products are not made only to sell. They are made to supply the animals with the micro nutrients they need to produce their inherited production and also maintain their health. They furnish high levels of vitamins, trace minerals and enzymes - not just a few of them but the whole spectrum of all vitamins, all trace minerals and enzymes. These products might also appear to be a little high to someone who doesn't know all the service that goes with them. A farmer has the privilege of having an AGRI-KING serviceman work with him in solving his problems and figuring out how to use his home grown feeds to their best advantage. The farmer also has the privilege of talking toll free to AGRI-KING’S nutritional department. They might also seem too expensive to someone who doesn’t realize the money that is wasted in overfeeding or under feeding protein, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins and trace minerals. The products might also seem too expensive to someone who doesn’t realize that profit over feed cost is more important than the cost of a ton of feed. If a ton of feed costs a little more but is in balance with your roughages, your profit over feed cost will be higher than it would be if you buy a real cheap feed that does not match your roughages. You must remember also that the more expensive per ton is not always the most expensive per cow per day. For example it you have a $lOO per ton feed and need to feed 20 pounds of it a day, it Will cost you $l.OO per cow per day for her grain ration. But on the other hand if you have a ton of feed that costs $4OO. per ton and you need to feed only 2 pounds a day, this will cost you only 40 cents per cow per day for her grain ration. They might also seem too expensive to someone who doesn’t realize how expensive it is to doctor sick cows and replace 25-40 percent of the milking herd each year.
