WHAT'S NEW 1 METERING SYSTEM FOR FREE STALL MILKING PARLORS A new metering system for in-line measuring of herd v,r string milk production provides a direct accounting tool that can help boost a dairyman’s profits, ac cording to the manufacturer. Because the Metering System measures all flowage through the line, it actually measures the cleaning process as well. If gallonage recorded on the meter falls below the users standard water con sumption, he knows his cleaning process is not complete Thus, by com pleting the process, costly contamination problems can be avoided The Free Stall Milking Parlor metering system consists of a T-100 Diesel Turbine meter and a SM2- 107-10 Totalizer. This system provides continuous flow metering and is cleaned in place with other milking equipment For more information contact Mr Clarence Dreier, Accurate Metering Systems, Inc , 1731 Carmen Drive, Elk Grove Village, 111 60007, or phone 312/6404)670 Exhibition Hall with new guidelines that allow exhibits by commercial agribusiness firms. “We want to expand the educational nature of the show and display an even wider variety of career opportunities,” explains National FFA Executive Secretary Coleman Hams, pointing out that more than 20,000 FFA members, parents, and business leaders, and 2,500 Vocational Agriculture instructors will be attending this year’s convention.
