Manheim Fair closes with sale of livestock
Hatfield Packing Company, Hatfield, represented by Jerry Clemens, livestock
buyer and Ezra H. Good, buyer for Hatfield, are seen with Beth Chapman, and
the champion hog she exhibited. The animal brought $2.10 per pound at the

The reserve, champion,
hog, was exhibited by Rick
Strauss, Ephrata Rl, and his
brothers, Robert, and Steve.
The animal was bought by
Walter Dunlap, Jr., of the.
Lancaster Stockyards. The
hog brought $1.47 per pound,
for a total price of $233.89.
A total of 150 head of hogs
were sold for a total sale of
$20,050.75. The average price

outside of Lancaster County,
announced that any money
over $lOO paid for the price of
her lamb would be donated
to the Manheim Farm Show
