WHAT IS A BALANCED RATION?
Most people in the feed industry talk only about protein when
considering a balanced ration. But to AGRI-KING a balanced ra
tion means much more. Yes, balancing protein is important, but
calcium, phorphorus, energy, vitamins and trace minerals must
also be considered in the right amounts and ratios according to
the needs of your breed of cattle and your milk production.
The only way to keep your total feed ration in balance is to
periodically test the grain and roughages that are being fed,
because these make up 85-90% of what you feed the cow. Only
after the nutrient content and the amounts of these roughages be
ing fed are determined, are we ready to start balancing your grain
