on Friday, September 22 as
part of the 50th Beaver
Community Fair, Beaver
Springs. There were eight
market lambs sold for an
average price of $.99 per
pound while the six market

CHAMBERSBURG - The
Franklin County 4-H Baby
Beef Club recently held a
meeting at the Citizens
National Bank, Greencastle.
The main topic of the
meeting was the 4-H Baby
Beef Round-Up and Sale to
be held October 9.
County Agent Bill Reagan
told members the schedule
for the roundup which will
begin at 10:30 a.m. He en
couraged members to visit
prospective buyers for the
sale, which will begin at 5:30
p.m.
Ralph Dice told members
about the Halloween Party
which is tentatively
scheduled for October 27
with the Hamilton St.
Thomas Pig Club.
