The seminars at the Farm Museum will be held on November 4 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The earlier seminar will be an informal program at the Museum’s Gun Shop and will focus on the craft of the gunsmith. Several working gunsmiths will demonstrate selected aspects of the craft. Charles Heistand of Marietta and Reaves Goehring of Columbia will work at the gun shop forge demon strating the hand-forging of a gun barrel. Stanley Hollenbaugh of East Berlin, Robert Wheeler of Dundalk, Maryland, and Jack Spotz of York will demonstrate other aspects of gunsmithing.
