JEFFERSON - The
Jeferson 4-H Club held their
meeting on September 19, at
the Jefferson Fire Hall. An
election of officers was held.

the Regional 4-H Teen
Leaders Retreat, District 4-
H Camp, Regional 4-H
Demonstration Day, State 4-
H Leadership Congress,
State 4-H Achievement
Days, and Citizenship Short
Course.
Christy was advisor to the
Pennsylvania 4-H Leader
ship Congress at Penn State
and was first alternate for
the York Fair Award.
“The 4-H program has
given me self-respect, a good
opinion of myself, and
helped me to get along with
others,” Christy says.

agricultural engineering.

caster County 4-H Clubs, he
served as president,

and game leader. He also
assisted with club activities
and events as a teen leader.
A member of five York
County 4-H Clubs, she served
as president, vice president,
secretary, treasurer, and
teen leader.
The state pubbc speaking
contest winner completed
projects in iambs, dairy
goats, wildlife conservation,
veterinary science, and teen
leadership.
In York County, Christy
took part in the 4-H day
camp, fashion revue, ex
change program, Rural Life
Sunday, demonstration day,
and officers training.
