There exists in every one of us a need to create:
to make something important from things of little
significance. These creations must be carefully
planned, of course, and then nourished
over a period of time:
Young people in 4-H learn to fulfill a basic human need
while they also learn human responsibility.
We believe in 4-H. It touches lives.

a good crop of corn from dry and wrinkled seeds,
a party dress from discarded scraps of material,
or a prize winning steer from a wobbling, boney calf.
