from all over the country
will be meeting in
Milwaukee, Wis., Nov. 28 to
30 for the National Farm
Women’s Forum. About
2,000 women are expected to
attend.
“Today’s Farm Woman:
The Vital Link” is the theme
for this year’s Forum
program, emphasizing the
contemporary farm
woman’s function as a
homemaker as well as a
“partner in agriculture.”
Included will be a program
on meats by “The Butcher”,
Merle Ellis of Tiburon,
Calif., who has a nationally
syndicated television show
and newspaper column;
“Dairy Delights for the
Holidays” by the American
Dairy Association of
Wisconsin; “Decorating on
the Rural Route” by interior
designer Gordon Cremers of
Minneapolis; and a sewing
with-knits program by
Stretch ‘N’ Sew.
