Lancaster Co, Society 29 Interior decorating was the theme of evening speaker Loretta Hovis, cinnamon and flour. Rub butter into mixture to make crumbs. VANILLA ICECREAM 2 eggs 2 cups milk % cup sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla V* teaspoon salt 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1 tablespoon flour 1 tablespoon cornstarch Separate the eggs and make a soft custard of the milk, egg yolks, flour, cornstarch and sugar. Beat the egg whites until they are stiff. Pour the hot custard over them and mix thoroughly. Add the vanilla and salt. When cooled, add the whip cream and freeze. Makes two quarts. A program on safety by Detective Jay Dacheux will be featured at next month’s meeting, October 16, 7:30 p.m: at the home of Carolyn Newcomer.
