Winners

READING - The Shaw
family of Oley R 2, added two
more Grand Champion titles '
to their long list of dairy
showing achievements on
September 14 as they
competed against more then
70 fellow exhibitors during
the Reading Fair 4-H and
Open Holstein Shows.
Earning these honors and
several other first place
ribbons was Wendy, while
her younger brother Steven
took the Reserve Champion
4-H title. He too, exhibited
several more first place
animals during the lengthy
show judged by Jack
Fairchilds.
The Grand Champion of
both shows, which were held
simultaneously, was
Bryncoed Astra Doha, an
aged dry cow sired by
Paclamar Astronaut.
Reserve Champion of the
open show was also sired by
the same bull, but exhibited
by Reu-Hel Farms Inc. This
cow was Reu Hel Farms
Astro Robin, a four year old,
also named best udder of the
show.
Continuing to add to Reu-
Hel Farms achievements
by exhibiting the Junior
Champion was 13-year-old
Constance Ohlinger and her
senior yearling, Reu-Hel
Farms Rorae Shu-Shun. The
Ohhngers, Mohrsville,
owners of Reu-Hel Farms
exhibited other first placed
entries, and where also
named earher as the 1978
Farm Family, a tradition at
the Reading Fair for the past
