Ribs are then cooked over “slow” coals and basted frequently with leftover marinade. The marinade is prepared as follows: one-half cup soy sauce, three-quarters cup of honey, one small can pureed apricots, two heaping teaspoons brown sugar, and one teaspoon of ginger. Combine all five ingredients and heat until well blended, cool before using.
