preparation for the 100th
annual convention of Penn-
Ag Industries Association.
PennAg is the nation’s oldest
agri-business trade
organization. Membership
consists of some 400 firms

Historical exhibit featured
convention committee

historical display is ready
for the convention, to be held
in Harrisburg, Sept. 19-21.
The historical display will
be housed in the same area
as the commercial exhibits
which are a part of every
PennAg convention. A
record number of exhibitors
have registered. Spaces are
completely sold out.
It is expected that this will
be the most ambitious
convention the organization
has ever held. The program

formed a wholly owned
subsidiary known as
Brownstown Agri Loan*
Corp. The corporation was
formed to make short and
intermediate term loans to
local farmers.
The loans will be
discounted through the
Federal Intermediate Credit
