The research award went
to Richard R. Hill, Jr., ad
junct professor of plant
breeding and agronomist
with the Regional Pasture
Research Laboratory of the
U.S. Department of
Agriculture at University
Park. Leon J. Johnson,
associate professor of soil
mineralogy, received the
teaching award. The Ex
tension-industry award went
to W. Wayne Hinish,
Elmer H. and Ruth G. Rohrer
