Average price on the total of 39 head at the roundup including the champions was Lancaster Fanning, Saturday, August 26,1978 $66.05 per hundredweight. Without the two top animals, the save average was $58.29 hundredweight. The York Livestock Market purchased a total of four head and Blair Mountain Stock Farm took home two. Other multiple buyers were Hatfield Packing, four head, Spangler and Sprenkle, Inc., three head, and Sechrist Sales, two bead. Also supproting the roundup sale with purchases were Glenville Farm Center, Ray Mummert, Roger Bankert, Den Emerich of Penn Packing, R.L.
