Pa. stored grain up 5 per cent I HARRISBURG - Total stocks of com, oats, barley, and wheat stored in Penn sylvania on June 1 were 51 7 million bushels, five per cent more than a year ago, ac cording to Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Kent D Shelhamer Shelhamer said a survey by the Pennsylvania Crop Reporting Service indicated farm stocks, at 45.8 million, were up nine per cent Pennsylvania off-farm holdings of 5 9 million were down 19 per cent. Total corn in storage at 42 5 million bushels was up three per cent. Off-farm stocks of 3 0 million were about 1.9 million bushels THE SYSTEM below last year, but the farm holdings of 39 5 million, up 3 3 million bushels, were more than offsetting the decrease in off-farm stocks Wheat stocks at 2 9 million bushels were up 14 per cent Farm stocks rose from 630,000 bushels lo 713,000 bushels wile off-farm holduigs were 2.1 million bushels compared to 1.9 million bushels in 1977 Barley stocks at 1.0 million bushels were up 28 per cent.
