process of estate planning.
Very often it’s the wife who
is left to settle the husband’s
estate.
Baugh says, “Estate
planning makes an orderly
transferral of property from
one generation to the next.”
Due to the new tax laws and
the inflated value of land,
cattle and other property, it
takes more than a will to
smoothly administer an
estate. Estate planning let’s
man be the boss instead of
being ruled by inflationery
land values. Baugh con
tinues, “Estate planning
allows a person to outline his
intentions for the future
ownership of the farm and
cattle and enables these
intentions to be earned out.”
Baugh received his
Bachelor of Science degree
in business administration
from the University of
Arkansas, his Master of
Science degree from the
University of Colorado, and
the chartered life un
derwriter designation from
the American College.
Baugh has served as guest
lecturer on estate planning
at three major universities.
He was chairman of the 1977
National Inter-Professional
Estate Planning Seminars.
A popular lecturer and
author, Baugh is best known
for his creative approaches
to practical estate planning.
