Myer, a junior at Lampeter-
Strasburg High School, has
been elected president of the
Garden Spot Future Far
mers of America Chapter.
Myer, who is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Herbert Myer,
Village Road, Lampeter,
will begin his term in June of
this year and will step down
in May of 1979.
Myer and seven other
officers were selected at the
May 4 meeting of the local
chapter.
Holding down the office of
vice president will be Don
Brubaker, the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harold L. Brubaker,
Strasburg Rl. Brubaker is
also a junior at L-S.
The odor of lavender was once believed conducive to long
life.
