the previous weeks close -
through midweek, prices on
slaughter steers were mostly
SO cents higher and heifers
25-50 cents higher. Cows
turned 50-1.00 lower, bulls
firm.
Four day receipts 16,800 as
compared 16,400 previous
week and 20,900 a year ago.
Prices on slaughter steers
and heifers advanced
moderately on the opening
