As in the past, Richard Glatfelter, 451 Petersburg Road, Lancaster, will lead a carriage parade
through Lancaster County.
Carriage
LANCASTER - As many
as 50 horses and pony drawn
vehicles will converge on
Lancaster County for the
13th annual Red Rose Horse
and Pony Club’s Spring
drive. A 12.3 mile route has
been planned. It will include
some of the most beautiful
dogwood lined streets in
Manheim Township. As in
the past, the teams will
move out promptly at 2 p.m.
from the Glatfelter Pony
Farm, 451 Petersburg Road,
Rt. 722 between Neffsville
and East Petersburg.
The route of the parade
will begin as the wagons,
buggies, and carriages
travel along Weaver Road,
Buch Avenue, Northveiw

parade will continue along
Robindale Avenue to
Sterling to Roseville Road
and Oregon Pike at 2:45 p.m.
The rest of the route includes
Eden Road, Country Club
Drive, Homeland Drive,
Pleasure Road, Juliette
Avenue, and Keller Avenue.
The entourage should
arrive at Ashby’s
Restaurant at 3:30 p.m. for a
half hour rest. After resting,
the tour will head north on
the Fnutville Pike and
amve at Glatfelter’s at
approximately 4:45 p.m.

arrive include: St. Peter’s
Lutheran Church on Delp
Road and Rt. 501 at ap
proximately 2:20 p.m.;
Lancaster School of the
Bible, 3 p.m.; Lancaster
Stockyards, 3:30 p.m.; and
K-Mart, Fruitville Pike, 4:15

Franklin County 4-H Baby
Beef Club on steer selection
and health care. Thirty
members, their parents, and
county agent William
Reagan attended the
meeting which was held at
the Citizens National Bank,
