A lactation total of 1095 pounds butterfat and 24,247
pounds milk was produced in 305 days by Hattie a 4-year
old registered Holstein owned by Avaloog Farms, York K 7.
Second high was Jennie, a 5-year old registered Holstein
owned by Sinldng Spring Farms, York, with 20,113 pounds
milk and 948 pounds of butterfat in 305 days.
The high herd was Lynn Wolf, Abbottstown, with 39
cows producing 64.2 pounds milk and 2.32 pounds but
terfat, second high was Galawn Farm with 43.0 cows
producing 54.6 pounds milk and 2.29 pounds butterfat
daily.
