organization. Highlights of
die 1977 year included a
record tree seedling sale of
114,000 young trees, an at
tendance record of the board
of directors of 98 per cent,
and the adaption of a storm
water, management
resolution. Huber told the
audience that' the con
servation district gave
technical service to 153
cooperators, and eight miles
of terraces, 6.5 miles of pipe
outlet terraces, and 14.7
miles of grassland water
ways were constructed.

was Noah Wenger, state
representative from the 99th
district. Praising the group
for their part in con
servation, Wenger related
that he believes that fanners
and agri-business people are
the kind of people who will
work for a living, self-reliant
people.
