February 27 at the Grange
Hall, Oakryn. At that time
the Grange discussed and
took action on a number of
bills in the state legislature.

Fulton Grange voted to ask
Pennsylvania senators to
bring it out of committee and
pass it. They favored H.B.
104, known as Agricultural
Development Authority Act,
designed to assist farmers to
acquire land, equipment,
and livestock.
They favored H.B. 1989
which would establish a
committee to evaluate
present state agencies at
regular intervals to establish
if they should be continued,
terminated, or altered. They
opposed H.B. 1855 which
would foster a constitutional

meeting held at Brandywine
Grange was given by Clif
ford Holloway Jr. Region H.
Junior Grange talent contest
will be held at Fulton Grange
Hall April 8 from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. Fulton Grange’s annual
turkey supper will be held
April 1 in the Grange hall.
First and second degrees
will be conferred upon new
members at the next
meeting March 13, and third
and fourth degrees at the
March 27 meeting. Degree
rehearsal will be held March
8,8 p.m., at the Grange hall.
