President, Mrs. George Ungemach, led the business meeting. Seventeen mem bers were present. Mrs. Irwin Kreider, past president, was honored at the ipeeting. She was presented with a quilt made of squares designed and signed by each member. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Elmer Ungemach, Palmyra R 2, on March 21. Time of the meeting is 7:30 p.m. York Co, Society 20 York County Farm Women Society 20 met on February 21 at the home of Evelyn Ayres for a member workday. Projects being completed by the Society are a large quilt to be used for fund-raising and smaller quilts and bed pads for in stitution use. Sara Richardson, newly-elected president of the Group, chaired the meeting. The Society ha? been asked to complete a quilt for the Mason-Dixon Group and will participate in that fund raising activity. Plans are being formulated to en tertain Society 16 of Dover as guests at a luncheon during the June meeting. Society 20 will be taking part in a Decorator Showhouse Tour, sponsored by the Young Women’s Clubs of York from April 15 through May 7 A 19th cen tury home in York city will be on display, with tickets for sale at a cost of $3. Tickets can be purchased and used at any time during the three weeks of the tour. The March meeting is being planned by Claudia Bailey and Evelyn Ayres, with emphasis on the history of the Society and on the scrapbook. Members are requested to bring with them to the meeting their copies of the by-laws and be prepared to answer roll-call with an appropriate response about the month of March.
