High prices for cattle, hogs,
broilers, lettuce, and
tomatoes helped push the
January Index of Prices
Received by Farmers up
four points - two per cent -
over December figures, the
US. Department of
Agriculture revealed this
week.
The price increase, says
USDA, was the fourth
consecutive upward
movement m the index.
